The year 2008 was a time of tremendous change and financial turmoil at The Mount. The response to our Save the Mount campaign was extraordinarily encouraging and we raised over $1.3 million in pledges and donations from around the world.

The Save The Mount campaign continues as we work with our creditors to reduce our debt to a more manageable level. Their assistance along with the generous support of our donors and visitors not only enabled us to keep the property open, but to begin planning our 2009 season. Nevertheless, until the threat of foreclosure is removed, we cannot guarantee that The Mount will remain open to the public.

We appreciate that these are very difficult times financially and are deeply thankful to those of you who have given to the campaign. It is only due to the great generosity of our many friends, both old and new, that we were able to make it this far. Please help our ongoing efforts to save The Mount by making a donation now.
