Forest Bathing & Tai Chi with Mary Hannah Parkman
Tai Chi, a Chinese martial art, was inspired by nature and designed to enliven “chi” or life force energy for greater health and vitality.

- Park in the main Upper Parking Lot. Meet by the Ticket booth.
- Walk length approximately 0.5 miles. Mostly level or gently sloping trail.
- Dress for the weather in comfortable clothes suitable for movement.
- If it is raining, this outdoor experience will be abbreviated to one hour.

Mary Hannah Parkman, is a certified Tai Chi Instructor and Yoga Teacher. Mary Hannah was drawn to Tai Chi by the nature-inspired movements and the dance between grace and strength. After practicing Tai Chi and Qi Gong for 10 years, she earned her first Tai Chi certification in 2023. When Mary Hannah teaches Tai Chi, she draws on her 12 years of experience as a mind-body movement instructor, teaching yoga in studios, wellness resorts, public schools, summer camps and leading mindful outdoor experiences. She delights in sharing the peace and vitality that comes from being in nature, and volunteers to support conservation efforts for Eastern Hemlock trees.
