SUMMARY:Play the Poetry Relay
DESCRIPTION:Join The Mount’s youth education team for a fun and fast-paced poetry game responding to artwork from Sculpture at The Mount\, an exhibition featuring contemporary outdoor sculpture throughout the grounds of The Mount. Participants will create awesome\, inspiring\, and hilarious poems to share with the group—no previous poetry experience necessary. Join us! \nIMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION: \n\nThis program is designed for youth ages 8-12\, accompanied by their grown-ups.\nThere is a $5 materials fee for this workshop. We understand that these are challenging times for many families. If you need to have the fee waived\, simply use the discount code YOUTH2026 when registering.\nThis workshop takes place outdoors on The Mount’s grounds\, which include a mix of woodchip paths\, dirt roads\, grassy areas\, and mostly level trails with some gentle slopes. Surfaces may be uneven\, and participants are advised to be mindful of exposed roots and natural variations underfoot.\nIn the event of inclement weather\, this workshop will be moved indoors to the Stable Auditorium. Please check in at the Ticket Booth when you arrive to receive any updates about the location of this program.\nSeating for all Mount programs is first-come\, first-served.
