SUMMARY:The Magic Lamp | Reading Presented by the Center for Peace through Culture
DESCRIPTION:Join Rosalind Reis from the Center for Peace through Culture for a read-aloud of The Magic Lamp: A story about the power of imagination. Written by author and founder of CPC’s gallery space\, Deb Koffman\, this rhyming story will encourage listeners to honor their feelings and ignite their creative imaginations.  \n\nThis program will take place in the Stable auditorium\, adjacent to the Upper Lot.\nPre-registration is not required for this program.\nThis program is designed for kids of all ages!\n\nQuestions? Email: programs@edithwharton.org \n\n \nCenter for Peace through Culture (CPC) in Housatonic\, MA\, is a vibrant community hub dedicated to fostering connection\, creativity\, and cultural understanding. Offering a variety of programs\, workshops\, and events\, CPC offers a space for individuals build bridges across diverse cultures and experiences\, and aims to promote peace\, empathy\, and collaboration in the Berkshire community and beyond. Whether through art exhibitions\, yoga and mindfulness classes\, or community discussions\, CPC invites people of all backgrounds to come together\, engage\, and create positive change. \n  \n\n \nRosalind Reis is a child at heart and loves beauty\, spontaneity\, movement\, being in water\, nature\, with animals\, music and the arts; she has a Masters in Intermodal Expressive Arts Therapy\, and was a children’s teacher and therapist. Presently\, she experiences herself as a minstrel\, writing and offering her songs of nature and consciousness as medicine for her soul and to those who wish to receive and remember what is TRUE. She is honored to introduce anyone of any age to the writings and work of Deb Koffman. She and Ros were soul friends\, and now Deb lives in Ros’ heart\, for whom she is eternally grateful. Deb’s messages are REAL and\, like Nature\, are for these times. Truthfully\, her work is for anytime and beyond time itself. She wishes the world to receive the gifts Deb Koffman left for us\, one by one. Have a seat by a tree (or lean against one and feel the vibrations\,) and join us in sharing her words\, allowing the magic of Deb’s messages to remind us all of what truly matters.  \n\nWhat accessibility accommodations does The Mount offer?
