SUMMARY:WordXWord Poetry Crawl
DESCRIPTION:Join WordXWord poets on a freewheeling journey across The Mount’s beautiful grounds\, where landscape and language intertwine. Along the way\, poets pause to share original work inspired by place\, movement\, and the natural world. \nThis program is a collaboration with ArtWeek Berkshires\, an annual celebration of local creativity. Enjoy 100+ hands-on or behind-the-scenes events and open studios across the region\, from gallery shows to live performances\, poetry readings to painting demos\, and so much more. \n  \nIMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION: \n\nThis program meets behind The Mount’s Stable and takes place outdoors\, rain or shine. Please plan accordingly! In the event of extreme weather conditions\, such as excessive heat or severe thunderstorms\, this event will be cancelled. Please check this event listing for weather-related updates.\nThe Mount’s grounds include a mix of woodchip paths\, dirt roads\, grassy areas\, and mostly level trails with some gentle slopes. Surfaces may be uneven\, and participants are advised to be mindful of exposed roots and natural variations underfoot.\nA golf cart shuttle will be available to participants with mobility concerns.\nWordXWord events are free and open to the public – no advance registration is required; however\, some poems may contain content or language best suited for mature audiences.\nQuestions?
