DESCRIPTION:“Parlez-vous français?”  \nEnjoy French conversation on The Mount’s Terrace\, Tuesday Mornings\, June – September. This event is recommended for intermediate and advanced French speakers. Bring your own coffee and croissant as The Mount’s Terrace Café does not open until 11:00 am. \nThis series is free and open to the public! \n  \n\nIMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION: \n\n\nThis 90-minute program takes place on The Mount’s Terrace under an open-air shade tent. Please be mindful of the weather and plan accordingly!\nPlease park in the Upper Lot. We recommend arriving 15 minutes early to allow time to enjoy the quarter-mile walk down the driveway to the Mansion. Attendees in need of assistance may park in the Lower Lot adjacent to the Mansion\, where accessible parking is available.\nAccessible seating is available. DESCRIPTION:Due to unforeseen circumstances\, this event has been postponed. New dates will be released soon — please join our mailing list to receive updates. \nEveryone has stories worth telling. Most of us just need someone to help us locate the important ones and shape them into being. \nYour Story\, Out Loud is a three-session storytelling workshop led by Sheela Clary\, journalist\, emcee\, and founder of The Village Green. Held on three consecutive Tuesday mornings\, the workshop welcomes both experienced writers and those entirely new to storytelling. Participants need only a story that matters to them and a willingness to share it aloud. To culminate this workshop\, participants will be invited to share their story before a live audience at Barrington Hall! \nThrough three mornings of immersive\, experiential work\, participants will explore the craft of personal storytelling: identifying resonant moments from lived experience\, shaping them with meaningful detail\, and developing trust in their own voice.
