Did you know many of today’s favorite kids’ graphic novelists got their start making scrappy, mini-comics by hand? In this workshop, participants will dream up characters, build their own worlds, and shape a story from start to finish. They will also get a lesson in paper engineering, learning to fold a mini book from a single sheet of paper, as well as rubber stamp carving techniques to design their own original covers. By the end, each child leaves with a comic that’s entirely their own.
