We are open seasonally and year-round for select programs.
The Grounds are free to the public and open year-round from dawn to dusk.
Mansion Hours
*Early closing: We occasionally close early due to special events, especially on Saturdays. View early closing dates HERE.
Admission
Admission to the Mansion includes a guided or self-guided tour and access to all onsite exhibits.
You do not need a ticket to visit the Terrace Café or Bookstore.
The grounds and gardens are open free of charge.
Mansion admission tickets go on sale April 28 for Mount Members and May 5 for the public.

Discount Programs
Museums on Us
The Mount participates in Bank of America’s Museums on Us program.
Visitors who present an active Bank of America or Merrill Lynch debit or credit card and valid photo ID receive free general admission on the first full weekend (Saturday and Sunday) of each month. Admission is nontransferable and valid for the cardholder only.
Berkshire Site Partnership
Visit The Mount and Herman Melville’s Arrowhead and receive $2 off admission at the second site.
- Bring your receipt or proof of visit to receive the discount.
- Valid for seven days after your first visit.
- Cannot be combined with other discounts.
- Available May 9 through October 31.
- Please check individual sites for hours and early closings.
