Forest Bathing & Tai Chi with Mary Hannah Parkman

Join experienced outdoor guide and certified Tai Chi instructor, Mary Hannah Parkman, for a guided trail walk and forest bathing experience with simple to follow standing Tai Chi warmups and movements from the 8 Treasures of Tai Chi. These practices calm and reset the nervous system, bring balance to the body, and help cultivate peace in the present moment.
Tai Chi, a Chinese martial art, was inspired by nature and designed to enliven “chi” or life force energy for greater health and vitality.

  • Pre-registration by email is encouraged: maryhannah.parkman@gmail.com
  • Park in the main Upper Parking Lot. Meet by the Ticket booth.
  • Walk length approximately 0.5 miles. Mostly level or gently sloping trail.
  • Dress for the weather in comfortable clothes suitable for movement.
  • If it is raining, this outdoor experience will be abbreviated to one hour.

Suggested donation: $20 per person.

Mary Hannah Parkman, is a certified Tai Chi instructor and Yoga Teacher. Mary Hannah was drawn to Tai Chi by the nature-inspired movements and the dance between grace and strength. She earned her first Tai Chi certification in the 24 Move Form in 2023 and The 8 Treasures of Tai Chi in 2025 with Master Nina Crist of Jaguar Path. When Mary Hannah teaches Tai Chi, she draws on her 12 years of experience as a mind-body movement instructor, teaching yoga in studios, wellness resorts, public schools and summer camps and leading mindful outdoor experiences.
