Forest Bathing & Tai Chi with Mary Hannah Parkman

May 29 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
Ease into the afternoon with Forest Bathing and Tai Chi among the evergreen forests at The Mount. Mary Hannah will guide you in easy-to-follow Tai Chi movements to cultivate peace and vitality, and a walking meditation to experience “the art of connecting with nature through our senses,” according to Dr. Qing Lin, Chairman of the Japanese Society for Forest Medicine.
By being in rhythm with nature, we awaken not only our senses but also wonder, inspiration, and our innate capacity for healing. Nature offers us soothing sounds, stable ground, and blooms with expressions of harmony that guide us home to experience these qualities within ourselves.
