Make-and-Take Arts and Crafts!

Join Mount art teacher, Ms. Jackie, to create a seasonal art project on one Sunday morning each month of the summer. Participants will create a mixedmedia art project responding to the theme of the monthly StoryWalk book. All skill levels are welcome to participate and take home their creations! All supplies will be provided.

  • Pre-registration is not required for this program.
  • This program is designed for young artists of all ages!
  • This program will take place in the Stable Auditorium, adjacent to the Ticket booth.

Each month, The Mount’s StoryWalk features a new children’s book that will provide inspiration for the crafts:

June: Rain Before Rainbows by Smriti Prasadam-Halls

July: My Town, Mi Pueblo by Nicholas Solis*

August: When the Stars Came Home by Brittany Luby
