Join us for an intimate theatrical experience that illuminates Wharton’s razor-sharp wit and enduring fascination with the complexities of human relationships.
A reception will follow where the cast and audience are invited to share their memories of Shakespeare & Co. at The Mount.
This performance is dedicated to Tina Packer, who founded Shakespeare & Company at The Mount in 1978. Edith Wharton’s estate was the celebrated troupe’s artistic home for 23 remarkable years of outdoor performance under the trees.

- This staged reading talk takes place in The Mount’s Stable Auditorium, a 140-seat, climate-controlled, indoor venue adjacent to the parking lot.
- Seating for all programs at The Mount is first-come, first-served. If you have seating preferences, we recommend arriving fifteen minutes early.
