Spring Wildflower Walk with Mass Audubon

May 21 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Search The Mount’s meadows and woodlands for blooming wildflowers and other signs of spring as we enjoy a leisurely walk in the warm sunshine. Learn to use guidebooks and smartphone apps to look up plants that we discover.

  • Meet outside in the main parking lot of The Mount, near the ticketing booth.
  • This program could cover anywhere from 1.2 to 2 miles depending on our pace, although we will be moving slowly and pausing often to examine flowers.
  • Most of the trail is unsurfaced, but level or gradually sloping. Some sections of trail are uneven or have exposed rocks or tree roots. The trail surface could be wet or muddy depending on recent weather.

Pre-registration is required through Mass Audubon’s website.
